Risk Attitude in Multicriteria Decision Analysis: A Compromise Approach

چکیده

In fields on which decisions need to be taken including health, as we are seeing nowadays in the COVID-19 crisis, decision-makers face multiple criteria and results with a random component. stochastic multicriteria decision-making models, risk attitude of decision maker is relevant factor. Traditionally, shape utility function only element that represents maker’s attitude. The eduction process multi-attribute functions implies some operational drawbacks, it not always easy. this paper, propose new can implemented: selection efficiency concept used during analysis. We suggest representing conflict between two poles: neutral attitude, associated best expectations, aversion lower uncertainty. Extended Goal Programming formulation has inspired parameter introduced formulation. This reflects trade-off classical poles respect Thus, have produced call Compromise Efficiency.

Choosing a Commercial Broiler Strain Based on Multicriteria Decision Analysis

With the complexity and amount of information in a wide variety of comparative performance reports in poultry production, making a decision is difficult. This problem is overcomed only when all data can be put into a common unit. For this purpose, five different decision making analysis approaches including  Maximin, Equally likely, Weighted average, Ordered weighted averages and Technique for ...

Risk Perception, Risk Attitude and Decision : a Rank-Dependent Approach

The classical expected utility model of decision under risk (von NeumannMorgenstern, 1944) has been criticized from an experimental point of view (Allais’ paradox) as well as for its restrictive lack of explanatory power. The RankDependent Expected Utility model (RDU) model (Quiggin, 1982) attempts to answer some of these criticisms. The decision maker is characterized by two functions: a utili...

A Multicriteria Approach to Risk Analysis Part I: Framework

Risk identification consists of defining the hazard, losscausing event E, probability P(E) of that event, perception Pe(E,P(E)) and consequences C(Pe) of that perception. Risk identification is followed by risk management, whose purpose is to mitigate the risks, for example by reducing P(E) or C(Pe) and providing suitable risk communication to the population at risk. Since managing risk has a f...

Risk and confidence analysis for fuzzy multicriteria decision making

Recent research has recognised that multicriteria decision making (MCDM) should take account of uncertainty, risk and confidence. This paper takes this research forward by using linguistic variables and triangular fuzzy numbers to model the decision maker’s (DM) risk and confidence attitudes in order to define a more complete MCDM solution. To illustrate the computation process and demonstrate ...
